This tract has 9.9 miles of frontage on Little River and other tributaries. It is largely a timber tract and managed for traditional use. This tract and the future adjoining tract of 16,000 acres are the SCNDR number one priorities statewide, and they will be receiving most of the available Heritage Trust funds for an extended period of time. This tract adjoins a state park and has a historic house on site built in 1865. This tract will become part of the Last Great Places initiative. The Bank does not currently have any grants in Newberry County and very few in Laurens County.
