Nowacki Tract is located in the 2500-acre Eastatoe Valley, a unique cove framed by the surrounding mountains of Jocassee Gorges. This tract is partially located on Wadakoe Mountain, one of the most botanically diverse mountains in the Southern Blue Ridge. There are significant habitat linkages for many game species, such as black bear, white tailed dear and turkey. The area is bounded on the north by the Eastatoe Creek, a drainage in the Savannah River Basin.
